We can mix and master your songs, if needed, publish them for performance royalties, promote and sell them online, advertise with relevant markets, wholesale CD’s to targeted audiences, sales packages for touring bands (with a credit card swiper), market your music to 1000’s of Music Professionals, and much more. We’ll sell your music online at over 200 digital stores across the world! Each Band/Artist/Songwriter gets 50% of their net profits. Compare that to a major label that pays royalties from 6 to 10%; only after they recover all their costs and after everyone else gets paid – managers, promoters, lawyers, agents, accountants, and so on. You wouldn’t see a cent until after sales went gold!
Our 50% cut is dedicated to Foster Enterprise Foundation - where every dollar goes toward housing, feeding, educating, and training those leaving the Foster Care system. ThreeGuitarz Publishing and Halfway House Studios Live operate under Foster Enterprise Foundation and provide many free services just for asking, no strings attached (it helps with our promotion and provides additional vocational training opportunities).

How we make the Difference!
I’ve plastered the web with our new album, but nothing is happening, what’s the deal?
What does a decent song need in order to make you money?
I’ve spent so much time and money creating these songs. Why should I have to share My Money?
Here are some examples of what we could do for you or your band:
1. You have a few songs recorded that you think have the potential to sell.
2. You have finished a full album, splattered it all over the web, but nothing is happening.
3. You have albums on the web and play a lot of gigs, but the money you make from downloads or touring doesn’t cover the cost of what you spent on duplication and setting up online accounts.
4. Your band is playing some gigs, selling some music, but would like some additional marketing and promotion that’s not going to cost you any money.
5. You’re any musician who wants to get started with a demo CD.

I’ve plastered the web with our new album, but nothing is happening, what’s the deal?
The music industry has changed drastically over the years, and continues to evolve every day. It’s easier than ever, now for anyone to produce an album or demo, but selling it is another story. The good news is that there is a vast array of opportunities for musicians to make a living doing what they love. The bad news is that these opportunities are not going to come knocking at your front door.
Many fall into the trap of setting up numerous accounts on Indie music web sites, digital distribution sites, Myspace, etc., uploading some songs and waiting for stardom to hit..... and waiting. Many of these sites charge fees for everything imaginable and these fees can really start to add up. Most artists never even recoup these fees from their digital sales. These web sites make it seem so easy to do-it-yourself. What they don’t tell you is that you’ve only just begun! As your music sits there looking pretty, your hopes and dreams start to fade away; your music career becomes nothing more than a hobby.
What does a decent song need in order to make you money?
Just as producing a decent album takes much time and creative effort, so does selling that album. That’s where we come in. We’ll get your music into peoples hands, on the radio, etc. We only make money from publishing royalties and profit splits. Through careful planning and a targeted campaign, we keep costs low and royalties high! If you don’t make money, we lose our investment. Check out Song Contest for details on an upcoming compilation album. And go ahead and send us an MP3. If your not quite ready to take the leap, we’ll gladly give you some advice to get you going in the right direction. Then look us up when your ready.
I’ve spent so much time and money creating these songs. Why should I have to share My Money?
Well, you get what you pay for. Marketing an album takes an enormous amount of effort, time, and experience. Musicians should focus on the creative art of making music and leave the rest to us.
You could build your own house, but it would take a real long time, and may not look so nice. Or you could hire a contractor, and they would get the job done much quicker with better results. On the same line, you could sell your own house; but if you hire a realtor, they would help you get the most money and sell it quicker.
1. You have a few songs or Demo recorded that you think have the potential to sell.
After hearing a sample of your songs, and they are ready to go, we would start by designing your Press Kit and Web Site; set up online sales, secondary promotional sites; send Press Kits to college radio stations, music supervisors; design a compilation CD to market your single(s) to physical stores; and much more. Send us a sample
2. You have finished a full album, splattered it all over the web, but nothing is happening.
You could spend countless hours and dollars uploading songs on so many web sites - anyone can do it! These web sites will take your money and put you in their pile of ‘who knows what’. Think about it, how is anyone supposed to stumble upon your songs in a sea of ‘anything uploaded’ ? If you have good songs, and want to start making some honest dough, then it’s time to develop an action plan. We would develop a targeted Ad Campaign, Press Campaign, and many unique marketing strategies both online and off-line.
Beware - here are some things to watch out for when your setting up online music accounts. Fees for setting up artist accounts or uploading songs - many indie music sites charge these fees because they know that many songs will not sell. So this is the only way they will make money from those songs. Another downside is that your future customer has to sift through this mess to discover your music. Submission fees (fee charged by many sites to deliver your songs) - if a music supervisor, radio promoter, AR rep, etc, is looking for music, we’ll send them a press kit, not money. Some sites charge enormous submission fees, however, in most cases, you can send them a press kit yourself (and we’ll do that for you - for free!).
A general rule of business is never pay for a service upfront - if you wanted your carpets cleaned, you wouldn’t pay first because you know that then they may not show up, or they might do a lousy job. If you want someone to promote you music, they need to get paid for a job well done, whether it’s through publishing royalties, mechanical royalties, profit split, or some other percentage of money made. We provide many services, but get paid nothing until we start putting money in your pocket first!
3. You have albums on the web and play a lot of gigs, but the money you make from downloads or touring doesn’t cover the cost of what you spent on duplication and setting up online accounts.
Sales from gigging and digital downloads are great for supplemental income, but that is just a small part of the picture. What we do is keep production costs low, while still delivering a quality product, utilizing various creative marketing strategies to reach a much larger audience. We plan to sell at least 10,000 physical units in the initial stage of a release. That amounts to a profit of about $90k if all were sold at a retail price of $9.99 (but, of course we will wholesale a lot to stores). Drop us a line.
In general, ‘online folks’ aren’t inclined to pay a premium price on a noncommercial artist. And with the internet explosion, competition is high and prices are low ( $.99 to download the latest, greatest hit!). It’s a two edge sword - prices are cut and competition is high - ouch; but demand is high - kids are downloading at an incredible rate
4. Your band is playing some gigs, selling some music, but would like some additional marketing and promotion that’s not going to cost you any money.
We can handle everything, or just a little, you decide. We could promote a couple of your songs on a specialized CD designed drive traffic to your web site. We could handle physical distribution of your CD. We could set up your web site and host it for you. Anything requiring a substantial investment on our part - Ad campaigns, press campaigns, mastering, duplication - would need a corresponding contract.
5. You’re any musician who wants to get started with a demo CD.
Depending on how far along you are ( or just starting), we could take you through the steps of getting that first Demo on the Market. The possibilities are too vast to go into here, so send us an e-mail.
Do you need to record in an expensive and sterile recording studio? Many commercial bands have recorded their first CD’s in basements and attics, and still many more prefer to record in their home studios. For example, the Raconteurs first CD was recorded in an attic and half the band was already a commercial success
